Here are some email addresses I've seen that left me wondering about the person's decision-making abilities. Note - these weren't just the addresses they mailed their resumes from; these were the email addresses they put on their resumes!

Good, real life networking

Social Media and Old School Networking: http://thecynicalgirl.com/old-school-networking-still-works/

A pet peeve of mine is when someone will say, "You can't apply online, you have to get out there and network."  It's not that I disagree - I don't.  What I hate is that this person doesn't give real world direction on what networking MEANS.

For too many people, "networking" means going to a business association luncheon and talking to people.  The problems - doesn't give you any additional experience, is a horrible experience for anyone that's shy, and really doesn't do more than give you a small possibility of face time with someone that could hire you.

The examples here - more likely to lead to a job. Period. So, get out there and network.
